Sun-singer was not about self-res

You guys are really missing the heart of what being a sun-singer is all about. And you have to get this right. Being a sunsinger in destiny 1 for the very few of us who did it was about having a super that was directly dependent on your stat build... for a longtime It was the only class in the game where having a specific build had these extremely impactful effects on your gameplay. The difference between having a 20 discipline warlock or 100 discipline warlock while radiant was HUGE. Same goes for strength. This principal needs to be expanded on, The way that the new solar super plays should be directly dependent on your build. If you have high resilience, you should have great damage resistance. If you have 100 mobility you should be extremely hard to pin down. If you have high strength you should be able to throw like 10 melees vs 3 @ base.. Same goes for your grenade. I I'm not sure how I feel about you guys removing our choice of melee and grenade being reflected during the super... I feel like for balancing purposes that this is probably best. BUT As of right now you've created this another boring roaming super with auto tracking nonsense. It's not at all what was attractive about being a sun-singer in the first place.and it kinda hurts to look at. Being a sun-singer was about honing your guardian into a "sword" before you ever cast your super. And then using that "sword" to wreak havoc. I spent years perfecting how offensive radiance worked. And it was honestly one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had in a video game. Please get this right, And while you're at it, consider a shift in design philosophy that acknowledges having supers that are affected by your guardians build is rewarding as hell. In fact, all three of your new supers should incorporate this reality into their core design ethos, and be the benchmark of Destiny 2 development going forward. High recovery= less super drain per charge use More axes for the void titan or more blink charges for that annoying -blam!- arc hunter. Better healing for warlocks. High strength= wider radius of effect for the hunter, for titans more charges on thrown axes and they fly further, for warlocks more melee charges. More toughness/ super DR for high resilience, more uptime for high intellect. high mobility, makes the player faster obviously but also the projectiles like solar canary, grenades, the void axes, thrown teleporty dagger fly faster... This is the final shape Right???? Show us that what's in store for destiny is excellent and worth being excited about, and show us the that this franchise is only getting started. Because truly I tell you there is a path where these last 10 years are only the beginning... And that Destiny has only begun to scratch the surface of what it stands to become. Don't make the final shape into a tombstone. Edit: I rephrased things because sometimes I'm a jerk when I argue with myself and that gets through when it shouldn't happen at all. Sorry
