Yet another "challenge" to do stupid things. A Carolina Ghost Reaper pepper has a Scoville heat index rating of 1,641,183. Which essentially means it's weaponized plant lava. A regular Jalapeno has anywhere between 2,000-8,000 Scoville heat index. Dang thing even looks evil.

Well, I don't know you're grandfather, but the hottest known pepper is a Carolina Reaper variant which is at 2.48 million.

Yes but peppers aren’t the hottest things out there. Just add capsacin.

Ok, so did he add something to a pepper and eat it? All you said was
My grandfather ate a sucker that was 9mil scoville units
That's not saying what exactly is different other than the topic is about the peppers. I know that there is concentrated pepper oil commercially available. My buddy worked in maintenance at a pickle processing / packing center, and he said they had gallon cans of this stuff that hey basically had to wear hazmat suits and gas masks when handling it. It's rated around 15 million.

It would be capsacin. Capsacin is what people add to things to make them spicy. Pure capsacis is like the hottest it goes. Idk what the sucker was made out of. But I do know 9 million units is possible
