Yes there is a bug with banner, it stacks melee damage if you have other banners, making it do OP damage to bosses

I'm guessing g it would maybe trivialize the thrall area if that's still a thing. But that's the opening encounter so doubt it.

There is a very long list of other things that will trivialize add clearance.
