You need to get the exotic by beating the SHADOWKEEP campaign first....

I did exactly that. Have not figured how to embed the video. Issue is with Rahool when I try to roll for the Shadowkeep exotic Assassin's Cowl it gives me other seasons... it's not dedicated like the other seasonals like Red War, etc. when I use the ascendant shard and exotic engrams.
-
At that point you're better off just buying the exotic directly....
-
That’s exactly what Im doing. But the 1 ascendant shard cost is guaranteeing it because it’s the only exotic from Shadowkeep. The emblems don’t match when I’m getting bombadiers. Raiju’s harness, the cabal arm, or the newer hunter boots from this year. I get bombadiers 75% of the time, so the RNG isn’t good on that Engram and it’s misleading.

None of the focused engrams only contain exotics from the expansion alone - they all contain the exotics released during that expansions year. Red war is split into slot types due to the amount of exotics that were released during that point.
it’s misleading.
No it isn't - theres even an option to preview the engram to see the exact potential drops

Ooohhh ok!! So Shadowkeep is the expansion then?

Edited by viiTactiiCZz: 8/27/2023 2:35:45 PMThe Shadowkeep focusing engram contains the exotics released during Shadowkeeps year - so season 8 to 11 Potential drops would be any exotic armor released during that year: So focusing on a Hunter would have Assassins Cowl, Raijus Harness, and The Bombardiers. Focusing on a Warlock would have Stormdancers Brace, Felwinters Helm, and Promethium Spur Focusing on a Titan would have Phoenix Cradle, Severance Enclosure, and Citan's Ramparts

Yes.....

Thank you both!! I did not understand this and apologize. I guess at this point, maybe a different method to labeling it other than just one emblem? It's confusing how the red war is more explicit than the rest, so I never considered how during an expansion, the symbols being different...
