Error code "fig" / Destiny claims I have Strict NAT

I'm having an issue where the game claims my NAT type is Strict and attempting to start any activity results in a fig error. I have made no changes whatsoever to my network, Destiny has just decided this one day out of the blue. I am the only one who uses this network, no one could have changed the settings without my knowledge. I have trawled through every part of my network set-up to try and understand where this issue could come from. Destiny 2 has all the special allowances it could ever ask for; I've tried several methods of port forwarding, I've tried UPnP (at the same time and not), I've tried multiple VPNs, I even contacted my ISP. I cannot detect any problems on my end at all. No other game claims I have Strict/Type 3 NAT, it's just Destiny. I've seen a few scattered other people voice this same issue, starting from around the end of last Solstice. Personally, I can't load in to any activity. I can sit in orbit all I want, even with other players, but I can't do anything else. I can't do any content whatsoever, solo or otherwise. This is strange, because errors resulting from a Type 3 NAT if I was on one, probably should not occur when I am playing with no one. I have read the definition of the "fig" code and the website states it is a "General networking error" which does not tell me much. I have read through as much troubleshooting text as I can find and attempted all solutions, no matter how bizarre. I am truly at the end of my rope and also cannot find any way of contacting Bungie's support staff directly. Any ideas?

It's not your network. Again... it's not your network. Bungie is aware of the HUGE amount of errors, crashes, disconnections, and contact servers messages, that players are getting with this new season and they said they're working to solve it all. Just wait until a patch is implemented because many other players are also having network problems (me included). I can barely play the game because I'm getting random baboon errors all over the place. As I already said: it's NOT your network. Stay cool, guardian.
