If most of the "optimistic" posts didn't read like totally delusional, uninformed ramblings, I might agree with you.
And even still, I don't think those people should be harassed or yelled at for their opinions, but this is 1000% the place to challenge and combat those opinions. This is quite literally the space MADE for us to do so.
If someone posts saying they're enjoying the game for what it is and having fun with their friends, cool. I'm not going to bother that person or that post with my criticisms.
Unfortunately most of the praise posts I see aren't that and are usually filled with any number of misconceptions and whining about other people not liking something as much as they do and not understanding why.

I agree that the situation that you are describing is the ideal: meaningful discussion and debate. What I’m tired of is people who try to implicitly or explicitly impose their negative opinions on anyone who tries to voice a positive one.

Thats totally fair. I'm as critical of the game as they come, but reading the room is definitely part of it and someone just genuinely saying they enjoy the game shouldn't be met with a tidal wave of people telling them to hate it and that does happen as well.

Exactly my point! I love the game and have put an ungodly amount of hours into it, so naturally there’s plenty I could be critical about too. Just because I or someone else loves the game doesn’t necessarily make us naïve to it’s issue, quite the contrary in many cases.
