I wish for a strand bow
Bungie! I wish you guy make a strand bow wear a strand thread is the string of the bow the parks could be first hitting a enemy with a arrow makes them connect to you and can be done up to three times doing so makes them unraveled. Second if you do have a enemy connected to you, you can hold the action key your garden grabs the thread like there going to grapple but instead makes the enemies suspend the enemies connected to you. What you think?

6 RepliesEdited by Spawn: 8/17/2023 8:13:35 PMAn Exotic one would be nice. - Getting kills with the bow charges a buff, swap alternate fire mode to switch to a 3 arrow burst. - Alternate mode shoots 3 arrows simutaneously after target lock on (like Eyes of Tomorrow lock on) with increased damage and creates a suspending burst (suspends affected targets). - Exotic Catalyst, after gaining Wovel Mail OR using your Grapple Melee, this bow gains Unraveling Rounds for a short duration. Getting kills with Unraveling rounds charges your alternate fire mode instantly to be used.

I wish for a 180 strand handcannon with 4th times and vorpal. Lucky pants with unraveling rounds is something I NEED.

I suggested a stasis bow, and they gave a fun exotic one. I think an exotic strand bow would be very neat and play well with that power. Good post👍

High Accuracy and Handling with low stability. If you’ve ever played monster hunter, I took queues for the super shot from Dragon Piercer. Basically a support bow at first with a heavy shot tied to a lot of effects. - Super shot has a charge time similar to Levithan. - Upon crit, shot will hit additional times for each stack you have and each hit will spawn a threadling.

It does seem like, out of all the weapon types, bows would be tailor made for Strand. So, it's puzzling to me that there aren't any.

3 RepliesMy (Ivara P) bow in WarFrame had some toggled options built in: one good one was a ‘thread’ which one could traverse gaps or climb obstacles by doing a tightrope walk…very useful indeed! A good Legendary strand bow / crossbow would be good! ✅ 🫡

Shooting a tangle with the bow to grant unravel rounds would be nice. That’ll give it some anti-barrier properties when the buff is active.

2 RepliesWelp if they made a strand bow it'd have to have the "Hatchlings" mod, plus I'd hope it'd be either a precision or aggressive frame cause the dps for light-weight and balance frames suck.

How about a heavy strand bow that works as a grapple with no cooldown? ~16 shots (whatever leviathans has) of potential back-to-grapple action that works on any subclass.
