went from a 0.8 when balancing was better to close to 3kd during the worst matchmaking experience ever, during the most dead period of the game-mode. you're sus af.

I played D2 at its launch, was a 1.96 in trials of the nine after 381 matches, 28 flawlesses up until the launch of curse of Osiris (September 2017 to around December 2017). Quit playing the game when trials of the nine was taken away, tried coming back to the game in the middle of Beyond Light (early 2020) when they brought Trials of Osiris back. I played 4 matches of the newly brought back Trials of Osiris and quit playing again because we matched cheaters (flying around with heavy ammo, aim bot) 3 out of 4 of those matches (you can see that in the Season 11 stat breakdown which is where you’re getting the “you’re a 0.8”. Won 1 game, lost 3, quit playing). Came back to the game one year later in May 2021 (and also switched from playing on PC to mainly playing on PS5) which is where I started playing Trials again in Season 14 with a 1.22 - because I hadn’t played a single FPS shame much over late 2017 to 2021 from quitting D2 repeatedly. Took a season to get back into learning how to play the game effectively on controller. Season 15 onward I was back to playing at my previous D1 ability - 1.9ish, hovering around 1.8 for a few seasons, playing as a 2.0 the past few after deciding to play like the other trashcans and not use a hand cannon/shotty setup anymore. Some of you trashcans don’t understand how to read data for the life of you.

I feel you on the stats as well. Came back to the game after not playing since Forsaken, went from a 1.1 to a 1.7 to a 2.0. (Getting meta weapons definitely was a big part as well.) People who immediately assume it's because of cheats are the ones stuck below a 1.0 season after season.

These kids don’t even bother to look past one number. Like I said, I was good at D1 too, he’d be able to see that if he scrolled down a few more lines on trials report. Quitting this game and coming back to it is jarring, especially from MnK to controller. You make a good point about weapons, too - when I returned to the game in 2021, it was the two-tap rampage 120 meta, and I had zero 120s at the time, nevermind one with rampage. Funnily enough, I also quit back in 2020 after playing 4 games not only because of cheaters, but because I didn’t have felwinter’s and everyone else did, and bungie didn’t put it back into the game for everyone to get until like early 2021.

Like I understand that everyone has limitations to how good they can be. But accusing people of cheating because you personally aren't good makes no sense to me. I play on Xbox, so it could be different for PC, but I can honestly say I don't think I have come across a cheater in PvP in a while. I also don't stat check every single person I lose to so I guess I wouldnt really know.

You’re calling me bad when you have 7 we ran out of medals 🫵🏻😂 And no I do not use a 3rd party anything just a standard ps5 controller. I did have a scuf for ps4 but it doesn’t work with ps5 so I’ve been using standard controllers for a year now.

Kid I play video games for fun and to relax I don’t want to be sweating for rewards I already have so there’s no point for me to play it. Comp is a waste of time the guns are not my style the emblem I have better ones. And cheating kid I do not cheat. I do have a trade secret but I will not give it out. It’s not any hardware or anything.

You don’t understand the game and it shows lmao I play trials and comp, I don’t go into quick play to pad a 2.0+. If you played more than 1 trials card per season, your overall would be -blam!- and you know it. Strong 1.6 with the crimson, you’re cracked. Let me know when you get over 100 flawlesses. Might take you a few years.
