So I've had this idea for a while and I actually got Chat Gpt to help me out with this idea
Immediate loss of interest.
But regardless, it’s far too barebones, underdeveloped and doesn’t actually make any sense. If the Vex were to get their hands on a Ghost shell, it would be worthless. They’re just Lightless husks incapable of anything except containing logs.

Thanks for the feedback. When I say I talked to chat gpt, I literally just put in my idea and it said that's so great and gave me random things to do with it. Normal chat gpt stuff. Also, I can't quote, but can't ghosts be revived or just remade with light. They could go to the shard of the traveller or some other light place.
-
Nope. A Ghost whose connection to the Light has been cut off can be reconnected if you go to the Shard. A Ghost drained of its Light is just dead, no bringing it back.
-
Would you rather them take ghosts that haven't found their guardian or killing the guardian and taking the ghost instead of my current idea?
-
Killing a Guardian and taking the Ghost is a feat few forces are capable of because it entails draining the Guardian of their Light. The only time the Vex have ever achieved such a feat was with Saint-14 in the Infinite Forest, where it took millions of years of study to key into the frequency of his light and constructing a mind capable of doing so. The only time the Light as we know it has been forcibly harnessed without a Ghost choosing a Guardian was Ghaul during the Red War, a feat that earned him oblivion at the hands of the Traveler. The entire concept just doesn’t sit right with me, can’t quite explain exactly why.

No I get it. Thanks for the input and the explanation. Id just like to say though that these vex could have been studying humans and running simulations to learn how to steal the light but thanks again for the feedback.

Just a reminder to stray away from simulating anything to do with Light without an extra layer to justify it. Because the major weakness of the Vex that has allowed us to circumvent them and saw them dominated so efficiently by the Hive is the simple fact that they cannot accurately simulate paracausality. Quria was able to approximate it when it was Taken through using the Hive tribute system to feed its simulations.
