I keep seeing posts like this. Y'all realize that they list all the updates & information that Bungie Help posts on twitter in the HELP section, right? All scheduled maintenance, upcoming updates, known issues, etc. If you want the inside baseball, or second by second updates - then y'all probably have to use socials. But that is no different from another company & not unreasonable. Even news outlets post updates on social media before their websites get updated. It's just the nature of the modern world.   • I get what you're saying about updating social being the easiest, but Twitter is a different animal now. You can't even look at it without signing up with your phone number. A gawd forbid you get banned for absolutely no reason at all(because you don't pay for a checkmark) you can't just make another profile with a different number. Old Twitter was fine, new Twitter is not reliable anymore.

    Like I said in my OG comment - If you desire to stick with legacy media & the old way that information was distributed, then you will have to reliant on that medium's information processing speeds. You don't have to have twitter to get the information. You can get it hours later on this website. If you want the information sooner - that's a luxury. You'll need to step out side of your comfort zone & try new things in this world if you also want the latest technology improvements. Twitter is free & easy to use + I'm sure by their internal numbers that majority of their customers have & use twitter. It's an easy/free win for the company & the consumers. It's not mandatory. Plus, judging by your comments regarding twitter - it seems there's more of an underlying personal issue with the platform rather than Bungie releasing the information via social media. Would you be equally upset if Bungie was also posting these updates on Facebook, TikTok, Mastodon, Truth, IG, Mastodon, Threads, SubStack, Hive, Minds, Bluesky , or is specifically because Elon started charging for check marks??
