Constant Broccoli Error Codes No Matter What

I've been having an ongoing issue with freezing and CTD's since Witch Queen was released. At random, my game will either, A) Freeze and display a "BROCCOLI" error code OR, B) Crash to desktop with no error, which means I have to go to Event Viewer and see what happened If it's not a "BROCCOLI" error, one of two things will show in Event Viewer. I'll either get a Faulting Application Event: Faulting application name: destiny2.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000 Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000 Exception code: 0xc0000409 Fault offset: 0x00007ffcc1c6c211 Faulting process id: 0x0x27A8 Faulting application start time: 0x0x1D9A2FB05C7E6F1 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Destiny 2\destiny2.exe Faulting module path: unknown Report Id: 63f9a55f-2e77-4b01-b780-44a44410d70b Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: OR a "source nvlddmkm cannot be found" To solve the latter, I went on NVIDIA forums and found that it has something to do with the PCIe connection. My motherboard is a Gen 5 PCIe connection while my GPU is a Gen 4. I went into BIOS and set the PCIe connections to Gen 4. I've tried every single fix I found after months of monotonous scouring of forums and subreddits alike. I've tried: Turning on "Debug Mode" under the Help tab on NVIDIA Control Panel Disabling all In-Game Overlays on Steam, Discord, and GeForce Experience Turning "Game Mode" off and on under the Windows settings Setting Destiny2.exe priority to High on Task Manager Under the Graphics settings on Windows, set Destiny 2 to use my GPU at High Performance Using the "Restore" option under the Manage 3D Settings tab on NVIDIA Control Panel Clean install of GPU drivers AFTER uninstalling them using DDU Reinstalled Windows Disabled XMP on BIOS Lowered the frequency of DRAM to 4800 MHz (Box listed it was capable of 5200 DDR5) Underclocked and lowered voltage on my GPU using MSi Afterburner Contacted Microsoft support to help me with the Event Viewer codes I received when I got the "Faulting Application Event" Uninstalled and reinstalled Destiny 2 (also verified integrity of files) Uninstalled iCUE Enabled destiny2.exe AND Battle Eye through my Firewall Lowered graphics in game as well as disabling V-Sync, lowering framerate, and making the game display in Windowed Mode Performed a System File Check on Command Memtest86 on BIOS Updating BIOS Deleted the CVARS file COMPLETELY WIPED MY COMPUTER AND SET IT UP AS A NEW DEVICE (lost over 200+ mods on Cyberpunk which sucked) No matter what I try, the game crashes. This is the only game I can play with friends that is crossplay and isn't a battle royale or mindless call of duty cash grab. It's impossible that it's a hardware issue. I can play games that are WAY MORE IMPRESSIVE in terms of graphics on Very High settings like Cyberpunk 2077 (with a ton of mods as well) and Red Dead Redemption 2. Please help me out! You'd be doing everyone a favor that experiences this issue TO THIS DAY. Based on my research alone, this has been an issue for YEARS! My specs (which is overkill in comparison to the minimum requirements, mind you) are: Intel i7-12700K MSi RTX SUPRIM 8GB 3070 TI ASUS ROG STRIX Z-690-F WiFi Corsair DOMINATOR 2x16GB 5200 MHz DDR5 Corsair RMX GOLD 1000w Power Supply

    • Try disabling full screen optimizations. Find your application file, right click on it and go to properties then compatibility. Check the box next to disable full screen optimizations. I can play for 10-12 hours a day and not crash anymore. IMO this game doesn’t play well with DDR5 as it seems that a vast majority if not all of us are running DDR5. You can also try to roll back your driver to 531.68. Good luck.
