The Final changes that Traveler's Chosen needs.

Hey! So I played with Traveler's chosen for quite a while and got +23k kills on it in PvE and +2k in PvP. I know there are a lot of weapons that could use upgrades and changes, but for now about the Traveler's chosen... I believe there are a few little changes that can make it satisfying to play and make it stronger in general and viable in higher-level content. I listed the following in order of importance in my own experience and opinion as a game designer student. [u]Suggestion list:[/u] [b]1) Gathering Light:[/b] [i]dealing Damage with this weapon will charge up a bar, and once charged get a stack of Gathering Light.[/i] [quote] What hurts this weapon most is not having stacks of Gathering light, and when in a fireteam, high-level content, or up against tough opponents it becomes extremely harder if not impossible to receive those stacks, as either the targets are too strong to be killed or someone else may get the kill. Think of it as a combination between Monte Carlo and the Manticore/Revision Zero It also makes less sense that needing to kill and take lives to make this weapon stronger, as to take (lives) is something of the deep and not the sky.[/quote] [b]2) Traveler's chosen catalyst perk:[/b] [i]Paracausal Conduit: Using an ability changes this weapon's damage type to match your subclass until you stow it.[/i] [quote]This perk will take the place of osmosis, as I see it, Traveler's Chosen gimmick is that it becomes part of your neutral gameplay, part of your abilities, being able to change its elements on more abilities besides just the grenade will make it more viable when using darkness subclasses (such as picking up Tangles and Stasis lances) and less punishing when swapping other weapons.[/quote] [b]3) Gun Recoil/Bounce:[/b] [i]Make the Gun more stable/ straight when firing.[/i] [quote]This may be considered a skill issue by some, but The gun feels a bit hard to aim and hit accurately Precision shots as it jumps with each shot when compared to similar other sidearms[/quote] [b]4) Auto fire(accessibility):[/b] [i]Fix it to fire 1 shot at a time.[/i] [quote] Ever since when they added auto fire to the Catalyst the gun started feeling less controllable and sturdy when using auto fire, When using the Auto fire option the gun will shoot 2 rounds on a single quick press of the button.[/quote] [b]5) Gathering Light [Alternate Weapon Action]:[/b] [i]Consuming stacks will grant health based on the amount of stacks consumed.[/i] [quote]It could be a nice thing to have, but I don't think It's a must-have to compete against other weapons in high-level content. But it would make more sense that we would receive health when we consume light we sort of restore ourselves and that the Traveler's gift was to revive us.[/quote] I thank you for reading and would be more than happy to hear what you think of my suggestions.
