The DCV was for 1 purpose
Taking away content to resell back to us, a shortcut to keeping up with season schedules so they can add some dressing to existing assets and push it out the door has new content
I have accepted that along time ago

Except it's not true. It's been stated numerous times that the reason the DCV was created was to reduce the file size of the game since it was nearing 200 gigs.

Let's assume that was true. Then it didn't help much, did it? The game apparently has way more technical issues now than it had prior to content vaulting. That is a fact. Why so?

Because we've had 9 seasons and 3 large dlc since the content vault. Making destiny a larger game than It was prior to the vault.

I know. But doesn't that invalidate their initial decision at least partially? Are you suggesting another cycle of content vaulting - Nessus? EDZ? - cause they can't solve the technical issues?

Exactly. It was done to give them time to make marathon, removing things to reskin & sell back to us is much easier than making new content from scratch. Parsons said in 2015 they'd begun work on a title for life after destiny, he said in 2018 they'd begun building that game, dcv happened a year or so later, they deffo planned this year's earlier. I actually read that everything until forsaken, was built for D1 then held back & the Activision studios did most of Forsaken, bungoe haven't built much substantial in a very long time. Marathon is 1 map & has taken 6-7 years, useless

Well yeah, most of the new areas are Titan. But some of the arenas where you fight the bosses in Salvage or Deep Dive feel like Tangled Shore.

What are they reselling? Because so far everything that was vaulted hasn't been resold or at least hasn't been clearly resold. Titan isn't really back we're just seeing a different part of it but we can't go back to it. So it's not really resold to us.

Yes it is. Not to mention reskinned lost sectors in Plunder, Brakion, and Leviathan. Two Opulence weapons are still behind the Duality paywall.
