I mean... Nightfall surges are there for a reason. The Nightfall this week naturally hits pretty hard with the Arc burn on. Riskrunner and glaives are both good options, since both can provide damage resistance to some degree (via perk or blocking).

It's not a nightfall. It's a plain strike.

OP outright stated that he was getting destroyed in a Hero Nightfall. Basic activities like these really aren't that difficult. Just don't run out into the open all willy-nilly.
