Error code CENTIPEDE is a general network error code, indicating that your connection to the Destiny 2 servers were lost.
This could be caused by ISP issues, general internet congestion, or Wi-Fi interferences.

You’re terminology is too smart for my smooth brain, I went to advanced settings in network settings, then IP settings, then switched to manual from automatic and then inputted the numbers that are on my ipv4

In some configurations or regions, you may be provided a DNS server to enter from your ISP. It sounds like your issue may be DNS related, as it sounded like your console was trying to get connected, but without a DNS server, it does not know who to talk to for routing purposes. DNS servers are managed by your ISP. If you had to change this DNS information to get your console to connect, I would highly recommend contacting your ISP to let them know of the issue so they can investigate further.

Yah but I was able to play other games get on other apps no problem, just this game was having an issue

Routing issues can impact only specific services. If a routing hub is unable to pass data through certain ports, it may attempt to move it to different port numbers to mitigate it. This could impact your ability to connect to that specific service. Using an outside DSN server could also mitigate this issue.
