Legitimately painful
Farming legend/master lost sectors are by far one of the most unrewarding player experiences in destiny. Yet it is mandatory to do if any new player wishes to obtain new exotics (a guardian rank prerequisite btw) not one player should go an hour farming these arduous lost sectors only to be slapped in the face with only shards and prism. Please raise the odds of getting exotics in these things because as of right now it’s borderline torture.
Edit: 20 runs deep so far with no exotic. It is not entitlement at this point, two hours of endgame content should have a reward and not just a thank you note. Where the -blam!- is my exotic arm piece bungie. I have 3 characters to do this for. Also new exotics should not be locked behind this extremely toxic stick with no carrot. They should be available for purchase from you overpriced and bugged focusing system as well as should be a world drop. What the -blam!- is the point of adding new exotics if no one can get them, you -blam!- idiots.

Some advice, mix your Strand subclass with any weapon that can freeze. Overload and Unstoppable champions can't do anything if they're constantly stunned. Barrier champions can constantly be frozen or suspended, so you don't even have to worry about the shield. If you play Hunter, mix it with the Lucky Pants/Malfeasance build. Absolutely shreds any champion before they have a chance to react. For Warlock, I mix it with the Necrotic Grips/Thorn. You can use Osteo also, but I kinda like how Thorn feels this season. For Titan, I just run a Strand machine gun with Abeyant Leap and Verglas Curve. Don't even have to use those. When you mix Strand and Stasis you can humiliate champions. If you're not worried about those, that's when you start seeing sub 10 minute runs. Still RNG past that, but it's definitely way easier.

I’m at like 12 on my hunter and like 6 on my warlock most of which flawless and still no exotic, but last time it was arms day my titan got them back to back like 5 in a row it’s bogus.

New exotic armors will also drop from the Vex Strike Force event on Neomuna (Season 21 exotics are currently bugged and don't drop from the event yet).

Welll it’s gonna be hard for new players anyway since bungie has been catering to the sweats you make up a small portion of the community. I’ve already had 6 ppl that introduced to destiny leave because of how difficult it’s gotten n tbh some of the lost sectors even I can’t even do anymore.
