well that's a very ridiculous answer. i haven't played since 2020 probably. so what your telling me is i wasted my time coming back to this game and paying for additional content?!?!?!

yea they seem to think that this is an acceptable answer. so we are to just sit in silence after paying for a service we can't use. makes you feel apprecciated doesnt it?

Unfortunately, bugs can be very complicated to fix. Not all bugs can be fixed instantly, some require a deep investigation and working alongside third parties. This means it can take some time to fix. I totally understand how frustrating this is for you, but rest assured that Bungie is working on this and will provide more information when available. For now, please be patient and follow their social media feeds. -
My guess, this bug will remain unfixed and will be forgotten when everyone realizes they can play a new character. This i am sure is related to older server code that was likely abandoned at some point. Without wiping the entire database of older characters and replacing them, i am not certain this bug will be fixed.

Bugs like this have occurred before and Bungie has been able to resolve them, even if it took them a while. I recommend you stay tuned to Bungie's official social media feeds for the latest news. This bug and others will be fixed. -
Edited by WillBye: 6/6/2023 12:53:31 AMyou know the easiest way to fix the problem so that people can play what they paid for ... roll back the servers to just before the point that these problems started. then take your "bugged program" to a proper test server, to find the problem. this is the only game i play that requires a "playstation plus" subscription .... which i renewed so i could play this game.... you know the game i bought that i can't play !!!!!!

Since probably cross save was introduced, not many were likely returning players at the time. (may have been cross play even) a lot of people wanted to come back after the final shape announcement. The issue blew up.
