why bans people who do not violate the rules of the game?

Bungie will only ever ban people who have violated their policies. Bungie fully investigates a user for any violations before applying the 500-year ban. Since your friend is banned, Bungie found evidence that your friend violated their policies. Your friend will need to go [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024492-Contact-Form-Appeal-Ban-or-Restriction]here[/url] to submit a ban report and then wait 500 years for the ban to expire. 21 RepliesYou cannot speak on anyone's behalf as you cannot be 100 percent sure what any other player is doing. All you can go on is what they are telling you. If Bungie banned them, they found a reason that was legit for a ban
