Why implement a focusing system for adepts in trials when you still have to go flawless on the returning week

I would like to know why bungie implemented an adept weapon focusing feature for those who don't play trails as much and don't get flawless as much just for you to have to go flawless again on a returning week for the weapon, it should be like this, you go flawless once to unlock the ability to focus the adept weapon on the week its available then when it returns later in the season you can continue to focus the weapon without going flawless again. why is it not like this? I went flawless the first week of immortal and with the release of the new focusing i figured instead of farming it on release i would just wait for its return to just farm by getting a 7 win card without going flawless. but no, i have to go flawless again this week to be able to focus a weapon i already have acquired previously. Why do this and not talk about it, it looks and sounds like you can do what i just suggested but i guess thats too much loot for those who cant get flawless normally, like im not the best player but im still pretty good i have a 1.2 k/d in trials. and i know you can just keep your flawless card and keep getting wins to get more weapons but still requires a flawless on that week. so bungie please make it so that those who have unlocked the adept version of trials weapons to be able to focus them on a returning week so they dont have to go flawless again [key word AGAIN] keep the 7 win card requirement but not having to go flawless again just to focus. that's really unneeded its already difficult enough to get 7 wins with the current system. and its just another opportunity to get 1 roll like come on. I agree trials should be hard and not everyone can and should go flawless but for those like myself who can but don't really care about the competitiveness of it and just want the loot to farm, which is almost all of the community, throw us a bone please. Please upvote this if you agree maybe they will listen.

  • Question: Is there a way to check how many went flawless using a keyboard vs controller? * I always believed keyboard would have more flawless numbers vs controller overall. Would love to see the numbers
