Icarus Dash is an aspect that can only be activated mid air and its only available on 1 subclass. It doesn’t deal ANY damage.
SC is a [b]Melee[/b] ability that can deal HEAVY damage to opponents in the crucible, is available on all 3 Light subclasses, and is used as a mobility tool.
Do you not see the large differences between the 2? Icarus Dash is going to stay as is for a very long time wether you like it or not.

Icarus dash has crazy movement and can cheese raids and all the like. Shoulder charge helps you get a round a corner faster or to stop yourself from dying. If it doesn’t hit anything it doesn’t make sense to have the energy consumed
