It needed it, the ability to have the best support super and the highest dps super is ridiculous

It wasn't the highest dps by a long shot, but I I love all the people saying, "You can't keep me alive [i]and[/i] deal more damage than me!" Now, in season 21, I'll just deal more damage than you, and [i]not[/i] keep you alive. Better call a void titan and get him to spam void overshield rally barricades. -
Yeah it's almost like, the SUPPORT class should excel at SUPPORT and leave the dps to the dps class

Well that’s what a support class is. Tbh they should just remove the other supers and just leave well. And I’m serous it’s annoying playing with warlocks running anything else. They can’t keep up in the dps or add clear. It’s a important job so that’s what they should run.

Unfortunately, the idea of a Support subclass barely exists in D2. We have a single support-focused weapon in Lumina, and very few perks that incentivise using abilities on teammates instead of yourself.

I mean I understand nerfing it to an extent, but this much? It went from a top tier exotic to basically being pointless. The main reason for using it is essentially gone. It feels like all the grinding I did to get gear with the right stats is just wasted. It would've been a much easier pill to swallow if they'd nerfed it to 10% or something. 2.5% just seeems so excessive.

It will allow you to have extremely high uptime on your grenades. It just won’t be allowing for more single target damage then everything else in the game.

I get that, but that's what the vast majority of warlocks use it for, DPS boss phase. Those are already short enough and if I'm running around killing adds during it then it defeats the purpose.

For sure. I don't mean to make this sounds like a Starfire exclusive complaint. From what I've seen other classes have also gotten some bad news, I'm just not privy to it as an exclusive Warlock player. It's just what got me back into playing Destiny so much. I feel like there's a better way to go about it instead of killing something that players are enjoying.
