For some reason Bungie doesn't want us to use the nightfall competitive playlist where we get the easiest progress 1 semi easy platinum medal . Only way to get them is from doing supremacy/recreational playlist which gives 1 bronze medal. If you do the Guardian games version of either you get 2 bronze instead of 1. So take your pick 25 matches of GG Supremacy, 25 GG Recreational strikes, or a mix of both. Make sure to load the node from the tower for them. Edit:Also only the activity medals count for the caty quest not the contender card ones.

Maybe you need to run the event playlist stuff. Are you running normal playlist stuff? If so, try running the event playlist stuff. This is just an idea as I already have this gun.
