USA west coast. Cannot sign in to servers on PS* or Steam.
-
Also, another note and question: I am on PC, and in the north america/west coast region. I wonder if the other reports of this are in the same region? I have friends in north america/east coast who are playing Destiny 2 right now and experiencing no issues logging out and back in or playing in-game content.
-
I'm having the same issue as well. North America, West Coast, Comcast/Xfinity for ISP. PS5 console.
-
I just unplugged my modem for about 5 minutes, let it sit, then plugged it back in and powered on. I'm now able to log into Destiny. Not sure if that was the fix or coincidence.
-
Do you have Comcast/xFinity?
-
Yes, I do, actually. You as well?
-
There is something going on with the ISP. I have several connections for work that are also impacted and our IT department confirmed it was in fact a problem with Comcast/xfinity specifically.
-
I have Google VPN and it immediately let me into the game but I cannot play as it does not let me join a fire team. So I can confirm this is something to do with my ISP and not Bungie itself. There are some other services that are also behaving similarly which are not connected to Bungie at all.
-
Fascinating, this is super helpful. Thanks man.
-
I am also North America, west coast with the same issue. My friends in other states are able to login but I am not.
-
I brought up resmon and watched the traffic during a login attempt to Destiny 2. I have 0 traffic being received from the login attempt. A connection is being established to the server(s), data is being sent but no data is being received (returned).

Edited by starfield: 5/2/2023 7:47:47 PMI concur, can monitor the same behavior here, this appears to be a bungie server side issue.
-
I'm still having the problem as well. Cleared the download cache in settings then logged in to steam. Still getting the Destiny 2 servers not available message.
-
Edited by Legendary Diarrhea: 5/2/2023 7:29:37 PMI have also already completed these steps and cannot access the game after the update.
-
I've completed the steps outlined above, cleared cache and reset, still experiencing the issue. Have a dev look at this asap please.

Same here, nothing has worked.
