So to start off.... let's be honest about stasis within the game as of right now... In general, we're a dying breed, this fact is ever more prevalent expressly after our latest blow to the gut; the introduction of Strand. In order to mitigate this fall of grace massive changes to the class as a whole are needed in order to induce a resurgence; however in lew of this id like to offer a bandaid to the problem. A simple exotic to help spice up the behemoth class. In general, as of right now, there are very few status exotic choices. Most if not all stasis-specific exotics, such as the Cadmus Ridge, are far too niche in use. In essence, outside their specific scenarios, they become much less useful as a whole, this lackluster general performance then pushes most Bahemiths towards older exotics, such as the heart of inmost light, and similar options. However what if there was a stasis-specific exotic that sought to fill this void? Perhaps a general-use stasis exotic that served to both spice up and drive up usage? So with this in mind let us discuss my interesting idea. So, in essence, stasis crystals would essentially supercharge the air (with dark energy) upon shattering, In doing so this would propagate smaller crystals ground the original larger one. This, for example, would say turn 1 large crystal into 2 medium crystals and then those medium crystals into 2 small crystals (2 per medium), in essence (1 large --> 2 medium --> 4 small) or something similar. This would allow an interesting interaction within most Bahemith builds in exchange for the reduced grenade uptime one usually gets from other exotics such as inmost light. Essentially sacrificing spam-ability for affectability. While I'm aware that this might not be used nor to some seem like a good idea I just thought id throw out an interesting and fun exotic idea from the eyes of a Bahemith main.
