Yeah, I know that. There are some guides showing D2 running on a VM through Parallels on a Mac. So I was wondering if it is still possible, Windows through Parallels is an official way to run Windows on a Mac machine. It might be as well considered a PC running Windows.

That doesn't change at the kernel level, battle eye will still need to access that level, an it will see its a mac, also running d2 on a system that doesn't support it thought an emulator or any other third party software can result in a ban. Bungie has labed d2 as windows old, trying to get around this can lead to a ban, breaks ToS.

It should not be possible; Bungie has always stated that only natively running Windows is supported

This seems to be the case and guides are simply being misleading: I get a Battleye error 1275 both on Win 10 and Win 11 in Parallels desktop
