While it’s only anecdotal, several people have claimed that they didn’t get new catalysts to drop until they finished some of their incomplete catalysts. So might be worth a shot to work on some of your current ones first.

I’ve tried this, cleared out nearly all of my in process catalysts and nothing changed
-
You have what appears to be over 20 incomplete catalysts currently.
-
Yes, but I got 3 of those yesterday grinding nightfalls. Lumina, arbalest, and wardcliff
-
Then you just got unlucky to not get the one you wanted.

So I’ve been unlucky for 5 years straight? I have literally every other catalyst. And like I said, i had 3 drop yesterday, but I had another three drop the day before that. On Friday I reviewed what I needed. I had 7 exotics that could drop a catalyst in strikes. Every weapon that could’ve dropped did. Except for Graviton. I’ve been doing this same thing for years. RNgesus is evil, but I doubt this is luck.

I have a number of incomplete catalysts and I'm still getting new ones to drop.
-
How many incomplete ones do you have?

That’s still less than OP. He/she appears to have over 20+ incomplete. So maybe the magic number is 20. Regardless, I did say it was only anecdotal & Bungie had never clarified if this has any affect on the drop chances.

I have 28 incomplete catalysts, but I got 3 yesterday, and 3 the day before. and again to clarify I have every catalyst I can get, 28 are incomplete, but every exotic in my inventory that has a catalyst for it, I either have completed or incomplete, and yet graviton will not drop

Edited by Bud Scrundy: 4/24/2023 8:38:59 PMAt the beginning of this weekend I had 7 weapons in my inventory which had catalysts available that I did not already find (completed or not). 6 of them dropped. The last one, as has been the case for 5 years, is graviton. It refuses to drop for me.
