Less than 10% of the player base has even completed a solo dungeon so while it maybe easy for you it's clearly hard for 90% of millions of players. You've got enough bragging rights right there. No need to gatekeep another 9%

That's a comically dumb take on a system that has no value beyond prestige and bragging rights. The vast majority of this community (rightfully) doesn't care one bit about Guardian Ranks, but to call it "elitist" is sad and wrong.

If 90% of the community isn't getting passed rank 10 and you want more so you can put yourself in the "1%" then.... that sounds elitist. You're saying being in the top 10% isn't enough. You want more..... sounds elitist. You're whole argument is based on wanting to show of and brag about how awesome you are..... sounds elitist.

This system is entirely optional and cosmetic. How is anything I said "elitist" when it changes nothing about what bracket of players I'm in regardless of if this system exists or not? It's to give players who would otherwise have nothing more to do in D2 something more to do and reward them for their achievements. If you actually read my post, I also said every other Guardian Rank below needs exclusive cosmetics attached to them too. This would hurt absolutely nobody and inject a desperately needed loot incentive into an otherwise completely useless system that nobody cares about. If you were really arguing honestly, then you'd complain to Bungie about including Rank 11 which already requires achievements that the vast majority of this player base won't touch (which is kind of the point...).

Also if it's so easy go redo it so you can show of that rank 11 score thats not enough for you instead of waiting for it to be retroactive.
