I gave up at the halfway point between ascendant 3 and 2 last season. This season I decided to stop at adept 3. Too laggy, too many cheaters and not enough high ranked players meaning I only gain 5-45 per win and lose 50-200 per loss.
I play comp solo and it’s alot harder this season than last season too.

I would hope so, considering that people who make it into Ascendant want there rewards and title for making it to the top. It would suck not receiving what you worked hard to achieve.

Getting into Adept III or higher is awesome and you should be proud of that if you are not. I was personally too stubborn to stop grinding until I hit the top rank this season. Playing solo is definitely harder this season since they mixed in FBMM to replace Freelance Q. However I do appreciate this challenge. Being matched with Duo's more so than less of the time doesn't feel like a hinderance, and we're never matched with full stacks (to the best of my knowledge).
