Autos are better than smgs in pve. As for pvp, depends on the weapon which is better.

The thing is people like to get as close as possible to try to melee, they put themselves right in smg wheel house. But i get it, people are acting like all smgs act like the immortal right now. It's cool. My main disagreement was about pve.
