Tbh.. SMGs never should've been added. I understand them wanting to bring new weapon types into a sequel, but dàmn. Nothing but problems, with too many types and archetypes.

Smg should have range adjustments so the lower the rof the more range, immortal should not have more range than wrath.
-
I agree, but they still make ARs basically useless
-
Nah, they just can't balance
-
Too many variables to balance. Like I said, too many weapons and too many archetypes.
-
For a company that asks you $100 a year to have a semblance of content, it's their job
-
Ok, and could you do it better?
-
I'm not the one who made the game, and you don't have to be a cook to criticize a food
-
As much as I agree with the balancing it's also because every god roll of every weapon is just making the same more of use the newest weapons with their god rolls because they are more overpowered than the previous but make sure you're using the counters for each weapon.
-
And that's more reason to balance things. Base version should be good with rolls adding slight extra power, not just relying on god roll to counter
-
That would literally just make the game more boring and way more easy what are you on about? If anything changes should be how much damage each god roll of every weapon and even future weapons can deal compared to each other. God rolls are literally the pinnacle of every weapons potential power. Finding a way to balance that is better than just balancing base weapons because you'll create the same problem again.
-
More boring? I'd say it'll be more balanced and fun since every basic gun will be good without relying on perks while god rolls add more potential power as you said instead of making many things unusable because they don't have god roll
