Problem: I try to load into the game, it starts to verify the content, but locks me out at 99%. Game says to reinstall the game due to corrupted files. - I verified the files on steam - I reinstalled the game multiple times - I restarted my PC multiple times I searched through several forums and no solution. Im completely upset because I purchased the DLC on my pc and have been playing on my xbox one and cant even play the content I paid for. I am also missing out on the experience of being able to play on my PC. This seems to be an issue that needs to be spotlighted because it has some history already. A few temporary solutions used to actually play one game or two: Update: Error Code: Beagle Go to this file location C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp Look for the Destiny 2 file and rename to to something like (Destiny2_backup) This helped get past code Beagle or the 99% verifying content. Error Code: Marmot Delete the cache_phr(different names) on D:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Destiny 2 and steam_api64 + steamnetworkingsockets(I didnt have this) that is on D:\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Destiny 2\bin\x64 I was able to get two or three games in until it crashed again. completely delete steam and destiny and do it all over again. This process hurts my soul.
