Did you enable cross-save before or after lightfall launched and you signed in?

  • i had enabled cross-save a while ago, but it seems to have deactivated so i just re-enabled it. is that a common fix?

  • Season passes are applied to the first set of characters to sign in on a platform after purchasing the deluxe edition. are the characters you are using from the same platform that you purchased the LF + Annual Pass edition on or did you select another one? sounds a bit like whats happened is your passes have been tied to a dormant set of characters

  • i believe i might’ve been on my PC after purchasing lightfall. but i’ve had no other problems with season of the seraph and getting other deluxe edition items on my PS4. would you know how i can check what’s currently my active character? i’m really not sure how to do that. and i appreciate all the help

    Cross-save is using your PS characters (these are your active characters), so if you purchased on steam -> signed into D2 on steam after LF launched -> enabled cross save within the past ~week and a half and instead chose PS then your passes are tied to your dormant steam characters

  • i have covid right now, forgive me—it makes some things hard to understand but i’ll do my best not to waste your time! i did buy lf + annual pass on my pc, but i did not play lf on my pc at all. i re-enabled cross save but haven’t played on my pc since ~december ish. i imagine the same problem arises because i bought the pass on pc. :( i don’t see a good way to transfer the annual pass to ps4. is there?

  • Unfortunately, if the passes were applied to the dormant Steam characters then there isn't a way to transfer them. You could try filling in the form linked at the bottom of this page: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049497351-Contact-Form-Missing-Eververse-Item-or-Add-On-Items but thats a long shot. Could you possibly try heading to the cross save page: https://www.bungie.net/7/en/CrossSave -> recap setup -> scroll to the near bottom and there should be a licenses section that'll show where you have passes applied

  • I don’t want to fill up noise on that form where they say not to bring up DLCs, but i appreciate the link and the offer. what i do find strange on the cross save is that my PS4 is not listed as having lightfall but i do play lightfall just fine on my ps4 (i already finished the campaign solely on my ps4) and season of the defiance isn’t listed on any of my connected accounts. all previous seasons are connected to all of my cross-saved accounts. i also went to go check but i can access the enclave/savathun’s throne world just fine on my ps4 despite supposedly only having wq on my pc 😵‍💫 not that i’m complaining as i can’t access my pc right now

    If your season passes aren't being properly displayed on that page on any platform, definitely fill in the form. At worst someone at Bungie will see they were applied and reply saying as such - at best they'll grant the passes.

  • No. Season passes and Dungeon keys are locked to the ACTIVE characters on the platform you bought it on. If you then activate cross save and pick a different account as your main those characters will not have the pass or key as they are with the other characters.
