we've been having this problem since launch of Lightfall apparently, I just got this glitch 3 days ago, and I can't login to the game past the cycling class icon screen. it's stupid.

Well, that's frustrating. Hopefully, they fix it with the maintenance today or at least tomorrow.

It's rather upsetting. It sounds very childish of me to complain about not being able to play a game, but I love Destiny and enjoy it very much. Have had this issue since launch of lightfall, and I just want to be able to play with my friends again

In exactly the same boat here, game was working perfectly fine before Lightfall update. Now just endlessly spins on the loading screen and does nothing else. I have to End Task to close it.

I thought I was going crazy till I found this thread, at least I know it’s not because of my PC or something I did. Hopefully they have a fix ASAP

Oh yeah I thought exactly the same, although I know I didint change anything meaningful on my PC to make 1 game stop working just like that... every other game I play has carried on working fine. All I wanna do is play and stream Destiny 2 with my homies but for the past 3 days I've just been stuck trying to troubleshoot something that isnt even my fault.

Sooo the maintenance and update yesterday fixed nothing for me, still endlessly sits at the loading screen. I cant believe Bungie doesnt care enough to hotfix this already. Literally seeing your friends play and being unable to do so yourself is the worst feeling.

Same here still not working, and I know how it feels it’s so frustrating as I only get a few days of a week and have been sitting watching YouTube videos of new content to try and builds and have to just keep waiting ahh well hopefully soon it will be fixed, atleast they have acknowledged it in the TWAB
