I like the more challenging Vanguard Ops and other content. But when you make it more difficult, only for me to be rewarded with the same equipment but one light level higher, that's just frustrating. You guys really have to work on your balancing issues. Make content more "challenging" but still dependent on lazy RNG with no protections. People don't like having their time wasted, and that's what it feels like.
