Without exaggerating, Warlocks don't even have an Ignite mechanism whatsoever. Just accidentally stacking Scorch
Instead of accidentally stacking Scorch, you could try intentionally stacking Scorch
Incinerator Snap can Ignite if 4 - 5 projectiles hit a target, easier to hit if you angle your snap downwards
Well of Radiance + Ember of Combustion can make all your weapon kills Ignite

Edited by Votrae: 2/22/2023 9:15:08 PMThanks for the feedback, I've gotten pretty good at counting for Scorch stacks. Next time I'm in meaningfully difficult content, I'll be sure to rush into kissing range and hurl my coals at the floor and pray for Ignite. I'm aware of the all-classes shared common Fragment, Ember of Combustion. I'll be sure to use that alongside the game's worst Super. Just kidding, Warlocks can only use number puddle. To reiterate: Warlocks do not have an Ignite mechanism like the other two classes. Period. What's more: Warlock has laughable melee across the board. Just color-matched short ranged blobs that do literally nothing synergistic by comparison to their peers. It's not even up for debate. Above, these are facts. My subjective opinion is that Bungie knows and just plain doesn't care. They could at least call it rain

This doesn't change that warlocks can only ignite with stacks of scorch, if you want yo actually look at it though. Icarus dash shouldn't be an aspect, Touch of flame has no synergy in the subclass, heat rises is a bad aspect and competes with Touch of flame for the grenade, incinerator snap has inconsistent targeting and is low range.

I will never forgive them for nerfing winters guile. I ignition from a x5 incinerator snap was the most satisfying thing to get. I remember using it in the haunted sectors and getting people wondering how my melee was one hitting the bosses
