yeah most games are pay to win and we don't even think about it because an "expansion" sounds less pay to win than "this loot box can give a weapon that one taps everything"

The game as become free to play 3 years ago. Before that we alway use to buy expansion. You should consider yourself lucky to play for free an enjoy a ton amount of free content. $150 a year for a game you spend hundreds of hrs per year is fare. But its not pay to win as the game was not free before and its just a way for destiny to attrac more player and if you like it you buy the expension. Like when you actually spend money to buy 2 game a spend 40hrs with them. I don’t think destiny is pay to win. I have 3500hrs on the game not 7000. I spend at least 1000 dollars orther 7years. 0.35 cent per hrs of play other 7years. Money spend well.

Of course and if no one spend money the game is dead. Like a say you support the game for futur content or you play ftp. Simple decision.

Paying to skip a campaign isn't pay to win bc you've already completed it once plus the gear you get from the campaign isn't end game gear, but imo it should be free to skip...paying to skip a campaign just dumb

if you pay for an expansion you have a clear cut advantage over a free to play person. you have more loot of higher quality. take votd, if you don't buy witch queen you now don't have access to one of, if not the best dps weapons in the game. that's pay to win. nothing wrong with it but it is still pay to win

Save $10 a month for the next 12 month an you will be fine. You can buy the next expension. I don’t see how else you will change you mind but it a live service game. An mmo and a good one. If you like something support it. If everyone think like you the gaming industry will be dead. Support what you like.
