Issues with acquiring hunters trace 3
So I put off parts of the new exotic quests until a couple days ago at which I was at the place to acquiring the last two catalysts for the gun. I completed my legend seraph shield and then went to visit the enclave the two new catalysts were available but as far as hunters trace I only had the ability to attach part 4. To the best of my knowledge I’ve not upgraded to hunters 3. Lastly I posted the other day on this subject and was told to run it again in normal for the hunters trace 3 which I subsequently did but there was no upgrade earned. Does anyone have any insight on this issue?

Each Hunter's Trace upgrade is unlocked one after another. 4 is superior to 3 so replaces it as an option if you hadn't reshaped it with 3 yet. There's no need for the weapon to be crafted with 3, when you have unlocked 4.
