Hi there. Bungie relies on players authenticating an account's login credentials via the platform the account is from to prove ownership. They have no other way of verifying you are the owner, so for player security, under no circumstance will Bungie forcefully remove or unlink an account.
Accounts also can't be unlinked while Cross Save is active. You would need to deactivate Cross Save by authenticating all linked account logins. If you can't authenticate the Steam account, you would need to contact Steam Support to see if there's anything they can do.

I have 5100+ hours on steam, and now there is a new account with no credibility on it threatening my thousands of hours put in. Please, help me find a way through this.

Only Steam Support can possibly help you with that. You need to authenticate both accounts in order to disable Cross Save and authenticate the Epic Games account login to unlink it from your profile.
