[RESOLVED] Day 14 of not being able to access my account due to Weasel

EDIT: As of 09/02/23 @ 00:45 GMT i was able to login to my account, now to see if it stays fixed Since the account rollback update (6.3.0.5), I have not been able to access my account. As soon as i select a character i get error code Weaseled immediately: [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qq4SvnGsUIs[/url] This is 100% [b]NOT[/b] a networking issue as i can login to my alternate account perfectly fine and have been playing on it for about a week now: [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4DfxLJZhsY[/url] I also got a friend in another country to try and login to my main account to see if he has the same issue. Unsurprisingly, he did: [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZTuuaPUDeQ[/url] I have also tried loging in to my account on PS5 but the same issue occurs. Other things i have tried include: Checking my network ports Trying a different internet connection Using a VPN Unlinking my bungie account from 3rd party sites and apps Deleting and remaking a character Several other people on this forum have the same issue including a known content creator, yet i have only seen 1 post be forwarded to Destiny Player Support for further investigation. I understand that issues that affect a small population can take time to investigate but i feels like we are talking to an empty void at the moment. Any sort of escalation or even acknowledgement would be very greatly appreciated

  • Windows defender is buggy after i started using Avast my games ran smoothly. Download Avast: Avast automatically replaces your windows defender and it free aswell. -------------- Avast Link: https://www.avast.com/en-nz/index#pc ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can still turn on Windows Defender when using an Alternate Anti-Virus software. 1. Type in Windows Search Bar "Virus and threat protection" 2. Click on "Microsoft Defender Antivirus options" then turn on Periodic scanning. (i recommend keeping Microsoft Defender off when gaming)

      Bro..have u play any Comp since they fixed this issue few days ago? I just played Comp on my Hunter and Titan about an hour ago and now i cant login on both character. Warlock is just fine. If u play any Comp, maybe you should try to login again on that character you use.

Logged in, started Legend Seraph shield, was working fine until the boss encounter, got weaseled and now I’m having trouble getting past the character select screen.

      • So I don‘t know about your accounts but after bungies maintenance I was able to log in finally again after 16 days! I hope you all can get in too and it stays that way

      • Having the same issue right now, nothing but weasels while trying to get in. I tried verifying my game through steam but that changed nothing. I had a single chicken error but everything else is weasels.

      • Have the same problem here, just discovered about this, yesterday I was playing fine but today after the reset every time I try to login I get weasel. I've tried to acces from other platforms and asked a friend to login from his pc but nothing works.

      • One more streamer just had the exactly same issue after today weekly reset. https://twitter.com/FeelsRedMan/status/1623038219884367890 This is not getting better..maybe wait until everyone is having same issue then only Bungie will said they acknowledge this.

        Same here,I haven't been able to play Destiny 2 for a week Since the update(6.3.0.6)2023.2.1, I have encountered the same problem. On the same PC, I can log in to my wife's account normally, but after logging in to my account and selecting character,I was hit by a weasel . I hope our problems can be solved, my friend

      • Yep same issue, except for me only titan and hunter, warlock can still log in fine for some reason.

      • This may be a shot in the dark, but you may try using Nvidia GeForce now to see if you can log in there
