You seem confused. The 72 part of 70/72 is how many you need to complete the challenge. 72 is not the total number of challenges. These numbers change depending on how many challenges there are in a season. The first season had 80 or so challenges and required 75 to get the bright dust bonus.

Yes I know that the total number of challenges and the number required for the BD (which has always been slightly smaller) have changed over the seasons. But I believe last season was the same as this one appeared to be; 72 total, 70 required. Was just wondering if they now require 100% completion, and if it's a screw-up or a "feature."

There has never been a season where it has asked for 72 and only needed 70. You need to complete the number required in order to complete the challenge, it has always been this way. Last season had 75 total and required 72 challenges iirc. This season requires 72 out of the total. Not sure if the total is known yet, but there’s one more week of challenges.

Clearly we are not understanding each other with regard to what 70/72 means, but I guess it's not that important at this stage. With regard to additional available challenges coming, I was not expecting that this late in the season, but you're probably right. At least I hope so... Thanks.

There’s 10 weeks of challenges in a season. Sometimes people datamine them all before they come out, but I do not see that this season.
