Absolutely not. Half of what makes Destiny uniquely fun is how the radar works right now. It creates moments where skilled players seem to possess precognitive abilities. Amazing plays.
This game has been gutted enough. Limit this to a game mode. If that.

You’re joking right? The radar in this game makes PvP awful. The only time it’s ever been good was when they removed it in CoO.
-
No. I'm not joking. There are plenty of shooters without radar. Or with movement based radar. Or sound. Or uav. Go play one of those. Ask for it as a setting in private matches. The radar ruins the game. Are you serious? Or just a troll clown.
There are plenty of shooters without radar.
Destiny is literally the only FPS that has always active radar.

Edited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 2/1/2023 7:51:42 PMBecause it makes for a garbage gameplay experience where people just handhold in a corner and watch their radar. You say it allows for “Amazing plays” when it literally works counter to that and discourages “Amazing plays” because any strategy of flanking or stealth or out manoeuvring your opponent is completely worthless due to wall hacking radar that is always active and doesn’t even require a ping from sound or movement. “Why are you trying to change that” Because I’d actually like to enjoy PvP in this game

Radar doesn't encourage people standing back. Over tuning pulses, scouts, side arms, and subs does that. Which was a request of other people that don't know how to play Crucible. Out maneuvering your opponent and setting up plays happens in an entirely unique way in Destiny because of active radar. You don't like PvP in this game. You're literally trying to dismantle it. Lol. Go play Valorant.
Youre literally trying to dismantle it
-blam!- lmao… radar is that much of a crutch for you that it literally defines the game? 😂
-
Radar is a crutch now? Do you people hear yourselves? "Omg you really fire bullets bro? You need to crutch your gun that bad? You use your abilities?! Wow. What a crutch."
-
I don’t think Radar is a crutch I don’t know how that thing works. I just rely on my previous FPS skills in other shooters and that’s how I survive crucible. I even gave my Hunter knucklehead Radar and it still doesn’t help with how Radar works. I just listen real close to footsteps and use basic radar knowledge. All that being said Radar doesn’t need a change just an instruction manual. 😂

I got stomach problems because it ain’t digesting I watched like 2-4 videos and I just gave up on that. It might be because I’m not understanding meters, but it doesn’t matter much to me anyway.

Weapons are most effective in their intended range. Knowing how to read your radar will massively improve your game. You're much more likely to get your flawless than that other guy. If it doesn't matter that much to you, then worry not. I think you're more than capable of understanding it if you put your mind to it.

Bro it’s literally always active and doesn’t rely on sound or motion detection. Some serious cope if you don’t think it’s crutch
