That might be exactly what she wants us to think. Always remember she's the Hive god of cunning and deception. I find it highly unlikely that she would willingly align with us without having some sort of ulterior motive.
-
She WAS the hive god of cunning, shes a guardian now
-
Idk the witness and the wyrms enslaving her race when they could've been empowered by the traveler with "no catch" would be enough reason in my opinion.
-
You do know her plan to steal the Traveler would of killed us all? That’s not something an ally does.
-
I feel like if she wanted to steal it she would've. She orchestrated so much in the background of the game and got so far, to just fail??? Nah.
-
She practically did, we barely stopped it in time. Her plan wasn’t full proof, it relied on helping us. The one person whose been stopping the unstoppable? Highly risky Lots of our enemies put in tremendous effort and time and fail at the end. That’s normal. I kinda get where you are coming from. I mean part of her impressiveness stems from retcons. Like deceiving the Witness to save the Traveler. That is some next level stuff but it’s false hype. In the OG storyline, that isn’t what happened. But because base D1 lore set up the mystery of it surviving, they had to find a way to explain it and use it in the current narrative. Kinda like why certain enemies never invaded Earth. There was a reason in the early lore but it was dropped and never touched again. So a trait that makes her look real impressive and so sets further expectations but since it’s retcon of convenience instead of proper character development, those expectations aren’t reached.

Prepare For Siva Hive Guardians 😂

I wouldn’t be surprised lol

Fair enough. But I see the trend of having enemy races having some faction turn to the light. As in ally and not just a tool. I feel like it's not just our friendly little ghost vendor who will be a hive ally. But that's just me.
