We actually don’t know how many ghosts were created at the Collapse or how many still haven’t found their guardian. Every player is supposed to think they’re the canonical main character that goes through every campaign, so this event would completely ruin the immersion for a lot of players.

It was actually mentioned somewhere, only once so it's tricky to find but if I remember right there's only somewhere between 500 thousand and a million ghosts when the traveler had nap times
