tutorial banner, unable to turn off.

PLATFORM: Steam SYSTEM INFO: CPU:Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900 CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.81 GHz GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 RAM:32.0 GB GPU Driver Version: Nvidia Geforce version: 516.94 (Nvidia 31.0.15.1694 from the driver details of card) OS Version:Win 10 64bit ISP Provider/Speed (upload/download) / Connection Type (LAN or wireless): Virgin Media 500Mbps, Wired DxDiag (instructions below): https://pastebin.com/QAXwyvbR ISSUE: tutorial setting is set to "OFF" in settings, yet constantly get tutorial banners when encountering events or content that MIGHT create banner. (for example, three types of mechanics found in the Seraph station encounter for the current season) REPRO STEPS: play through Seraph station, when encountering the three types of door opening mechanics/boss damage mechanics the banner appears, regardless of previous completion's of this content or the settings page orientation. this was first noted in previous seasons when i attempted to play through old campaign content in D2, however was less obvious due to the nature of non-repeatable content. ACTUAL RESULT: banner appearing at bottom of screen until you press "Esc" key EXPECTED RESULT: No banner appearing, due to content already completed or the setting's option override. LINKS: not at this time. NOTES: has been a persistent issue for the last ~year. however not mentioned previous as content which highlighted issue was not previously repeatable in such a manner as Seraph station allows. poses problem as unable to see state of weapons/super or system messages.

    Hi Im Swat

Bungie fan, here since 2008. - old

The 'display hints' option is for displaying or hiding the hints that appear during the loading sequences, not for hiding tutorial banners.
