  • Dmts Cranial Spike only increases aa and "accuracy." Then at 5x, it does 16 less damage, making it a worse ttk.... Snipers need more flinch. I shouldn't flinch anyone into my head. Snipers have insane aa.

  • Cranial Spike: Chaining precision hits grants bonus target acquisition and range. Masterwork: Removes hipfire accuracy penalties and increases rate of fire from hip. Stacks of Cranial Spike increase hip rate of fire further. What I suggested is that Bungie removes "Chaining precision hits grants bonus target acquisition and range." and replace it with "Removes hipfire accuracy penalties and increases rate of fire from hip.", then they can come up with something for the masterwork. Since the weapon is over used currently, a nerf is needed to encourage players to be more diverse with their builds. I never stated that anything was "OP". For snipers, nerf the aim assist by 15 - 20. Then lower flinch a bit to bring them a bit more back into the game. I didn't know they had over 70 aim assist on many of them since I don't use snipers anymore.

  • Ohk weapons should have 0 aa. The reason why Bungie made Dmt broken is for bad players. It still has ghost bullets, so instead of increasing the accuracy so good players can only use it. They increased the aa so players like you can use it.

My personal "skill" has nothing to do with this, and neither does your ego, so let's just keep it neutral ok? My idea for a nerf to DMT is to test and see if it would lower the usage rates. Obviously more adjustments can be made over time afterwards, if it doesn't work, which I also happen to have written in my original statement.

  • They won't ever increase the accuracy since then bad players cant use it. It will be either strong with tons of aa so bad players can use it or a terrible ttk ghost bullet machine.

    I don't think that I have mentioned increasing accuracy on DMT, but that might be a fault in my memory, but I don't think so. What I believe I said was that the part of the DMT Masterwork, which gives the weapon hipfire accuracy should replace the weapon's exotic perk Cranial Spike, which will lower the weapons aim assist and range. But then again my mistake if I've deluded you by miswording my statement.

    I do believe that I do know how the game works, that's why I'm posting. I want the game to cater to higher quality players, at least in ranked game modes. I know Bungie won't ever do anything about it, especially not when players choose to throw insults on everything, instead of coming with constructive criticism.

  • Buffing snipers for no reason other than. "I'm bad at the game please Bungie flinch me back into headshots for free kills". Is a terrible take and you can't be taken seriously.
