I’m pretty sure it’s impossible for Bungie to overdeliver. They couldn’t even if they tried, and our expectations aren’t even that high. I’d say that over these past multiple years of D2, all of our expectation have gone down drastically, but Bungie continues to under deliver

The witch queen was largely praised as the best campaign and story that destiny has received. I also believe that to be true, as I enjoyed it MUCH more than any other story content. I would definitely say they didn't under deliver there at all.

I’d say they delivered as expected for a major expansion, yes. I was happy with the launch of witch queen as well. However this seasonal model is just not working

Given that Witch Queen was the best piece of content yet for myself and other players, I would say Bungie didn't "deliver as expected" and exceeded expectations. The seasonal model is a separate discussion from what I mentioned

I am not denying that Witch Queen was a great expansion, but I definitely didn’t find myself being blown away. To be honest, I have really been blown away since Taken King. I feel like that was the absolute best expansion, I never found myself bored and looking for something to do. The burn out hits so quick in D2 pretty much since day 1 of D2, and even more so since they introduced the seasonal model.
