I’m having the same issue. It seems other ingredients want to drop instead. Very frustrating!

To get flash of inspiration, you need to use mod on your helmet using same element as your subclass to generate orb of light. For example solar auto and solar sub class and multiple kills and it is a rare drop.

Oh yeah I was doing that. I was using either kinetic siphon mod with a primary non-stasis weapon or harmonic siphon with my class element and element weapon matching. The game kept preferring to drop multifaceted, bullet spray, perfect taste or the one ingredient that drops from using a super. It appears I’m up against RNG on this. Now last night a friend of mine tried using a bow instead (e.g., Trinity Ghoul) and was having some luck on it. I haven’t tried for myself to see if it will work for me too.
