Invaders win games. It doesn't really matter how many motes are flying around. I just miss gambit prime it was way better. Even with the special gambit armor shenanigans

I've heard lots of good things about Gambit prime, I wish I had a chance to play it. I'm still kinda fresh out the blueberry cart; I took a break at the end of Red War and came back in S15. But I hear ya, invaders make the game unbalanced since the first team to invade usually decides the match. That's why I figured having both portals open when either team hits 40 would be a decent idea: both teams have the chance to turn the tide. Furthermore, highlighting the invader on-invader-kill would immensely benefit the defenders odds at survival.

Super late, but blame bungie not me. All that really does is make the better invader more obvious. It's not about who invades 1st it's who does it at the right time and can capitalize. In my opinion heavy either shouldn't show up until after an invade or spawn a crate every other wave to keep the heavy in check. The invader to defender balance is fine so far. You've got 4 people with heavy probably vs 1 guy with wall hacks. His spawn is also pretty predictable
