Oh, don't worry... It'll be restored. Probably when they make the "Age of Triumph 2.0" that, to have access, you have to purchase the latest DLCs. Said DLCs will only be available to PC/PS5/SeriesX, since they'll need the extra hardware power to make the game not explode (since there's no way in hell that the game would work on older consoles with it's decrepit engine).

  • Honestly felt like beyond light and or witch queen should have been the moment they stopped putting new xpacs on legacy consoles. They stated the hardware limitations was why they needed to vault stuff to begin with

  • Of course they would say it's "Hardware limitations". The issue is never on their end, always on users' (just like when their servers go bonkers and nobody can access the game, "It's your internet"). It's like that on pretty much any company. What most likely caused them remove stuff is that for old stuff to be "reinserted" in the game, it needs to be rewritten and adapted to the changes in their engine. They simply choose to scrap the things in the game that they deemed "unpopular" instead of "updating" them (engine-wise). End of the day, unless they can "resell" that content, they won't touch it, since they'd be wasting money on something that people already purchased. That's the issue of creating a game using a modified engine from 2001, when you need to update, you'll probably have to rebuild everything from the ground up.
