I get what you’re saying and your ideas would indeed make the game better for all players BUT they’re not going to happen. It’s all about the moolah! Bungie wont delay the moolah that a new expansion will bring to provide the QoL fixes that the game needs and that you’ve mentioned. We can hope. Ya hope. That some of those fixes will be incorporated within the the expansion but it’s anybody’s guess if that’s the case or not. Regardless, it is what it is. I’m not expecting much change but I’ve been wrong before.
